Heh, upon the advice of some assoc., I downloaded * sketchup 7 * from Google 
....  this is a fun 3D drawing program (free ...  well, look for hidden 
cookies and junk mail to follow, I bet  nothing is free   )...

Anyway, this is a lot of program for the "free" cost.  tutorialvideos free 
and lots of them.
