<VV> Corvairs in snow

I drove Corvairs (to college) in far North New York state in the 60's and can't recall ever getting stuck where it couldn't move but had some situations where I couldn't steer because the snow was heavy and deep and the front end would ride up on it. Weight in the trunk would help, especially cases of beer!

Back then we could use studded snow tires. My best snow car was a '66 Toronado. It would go through anything.
