<VV> coupe vs convertible/ late vs early

Five of the six Vairs that I have owned were convertibles!  Sorry to say but
the Fitch coupe is the only one to never been driven on the road. But for
the "Great Debate"  I had owned 3 early's  very early in my adult life and
now have owned 3 late's very late in my adult life. So, one could say I have
achieved equilibrium in my Corvair life to this point!
