Au contraire!  One needs to inspect the pump first to see what "is" 
wrong, then decide on a course of action to repair it, if it is 
repairable (since pump cups seem to be out of production -- I can't 
imagine that will last too long as too many cars of that era use the 
same part -- has anybody checked with the Chevelle people?)
