<VV> Car smarter than driver? no vair

An expensive "Smart Car" decided to get off of a fairy boat in Brittan and 
go for a dip.  The operator, who had gone to the men's room, insists that 
the hand brake was set.  So, doesn't a smart car know how to set it's own 
hand brake?
