You may want to consider a different oil.
Mobil 1 does not have adequate zinc or phosphorous for a flat tappet engine.
Look at Corvair owner and oil expert www.widman.biz for info.

We run Mobil 1 10W-30 in my daughter's Spyder. She's put about 90,000 miles 
on it since our home rebuild, and its still going strong!
