i have metal storage cabinets , picked up cheap at office auctions for  
paints and chemicals. i built wooden trays that pull out for spray cans , but  
coke cartons , or other tray type boxes like you get at sam's clubs etc work 
 good also. grocery stores toss a lot of great storage tray type boxes .
i make lots of use of tray type boxes in my shop.  water bottle trays  make 
great parts sorting while working on cars . they soak the last of solvents  
off hardware etc after cleaning , keeping bench tops semi organized.  so i  
keep lots of trays here and cut up refrigerator boxes to use on bench  tops.
