<VV> NGK/Delco?

I have a friend in the industry who shared with me the following when I  
shared with him the thread here, earlier, about NGK plugs in AC Delco  boxes:

AC Delco/Delphi is now  owned by the Chinese.>
 
I can't vouch for the veracity of what he has told me.  Don't shoot  the 
messenger.
