excessive oil pressure in engines with hydraulic lifters will cause lifter  
problems along with other issues mentioned already.  i had that high oil  
pressure trick pulled on me a long time ago and positively know the fun i had  
trying to get things running correctly until i replaced that spring.it was  
running over 60 lbs as you took it over idle.
the lakewood body looks like a 60 nose on it??
