Another "trick" I've found for glass is Kaboom. Unlike the typical "as 
advertised on TV" this stuff seriously works (only thing that would 
touch the scale buildup from my hard water), especially the creme which 
is slightly more abrasive than the liquid. I also use Bon Ami and would 
conside that comparable abrasive-wise, but inferior chemistry wise.
