what the heck is all the flap on wire location?  so long as #1 is set  so it 
is when number 1 is up it is fine.  yesterday one of the glitches in  my 
latest engine was weird timing , and timing retarding , instead of advancing  when 
revving the engine.  the distributor was out of a 140 i just took out  of a 
junk van. when i opened the distributor  up it was a fairly new  looking 
"rebuilt" 330 unit with all new stuff in it...but the weights were in  upside down.  
now when you flip the weights , you also have to turn the  shaft 180 degrees. 
so (remember it was late , and i was tired!)  when i  went to restart it ,it 
was 180 out. after a couple fine words ,  the wires  are now in new position 
(180 off!).
 runs great now!!  dont trust nuttin you did not build yerself  strikes again.
