Last Call for Summit Point: While so many of us are still enjoying
the afterglow of the successful "Corvair Olympics" in Indianapolis,
the NECC is preparing for its next event, the Track Day at Summit
Point on Monday, October 13.

But advance registrations for this event are lagging, and the NECC
must make a go or no-go decision by September 29, two weeks before the event.

If you are planning to participate and have not yet registered, the
NECC needs to hear from you. As of this writing we are just
half way to the "break-even" number, so your commitment
is important. If we are not able to get within a reasonable distance
of the financial break-even point by September 29, regrettably the
NECC will have to cancel the event.

A Corvair is not a requirement! NECC events are open to all makes of
cars. And there are classes for cars of all degrees of preparation,
from regular street-driven cars to purpose-built track cars. There
is a place for you and your car.

Entry is only $179 for all the practice laps that you can stand, plus
your own individual timed laps.

Complete event details are on the NECC web site,
http://www.corvair.org/chapters/necc

You can download a registration from on the web site, or you can
contact NECC President Brian O'Neill directly at
bmoneill at juno.com. Either way, let us hear from you!
