You're right about that ! I noticed that the skimpy little boots that
they do have are loose and would likely be blown up the wire !
So, I brought them back for a refund that I applied to a set of Seth's
silicon wires ...

Uh, do these 'generic' wires have the correct boot seal at the plug end?

not, you're losing cooling air out the plug hole.
