<VV> fan color updated

got a note from a local person that i will get a picture from.  his is  
original excellent shape and is some sort of gray...but it is a 66 Canadian car.  i 
wonder if 64 was the same?
i have seen anodized (or however they coated that stuff ) black , and gray  
out there. most fans i get now are pitted and black. i usually paint them after 
 checking carefully for cracks, but i want this car to look correct if i  can.
