I have no doubt that Seth describes his part accurately, but I did own 
two second-owner Corsa's in the Back When and have what I think are 
distinct memories of a Black coating on the mag fan, especially under 
the pulley and on the inside of the recess where the bearing resides -- 
I remember this because the coating, while paint like, did not appear to 
be ordinary paint.  I wonder if this coating, sitting around in a box or 
on a car for maybe 40 some odd years didn't itself oxidize to a less 
black color ...  or maybe the coating was changed sometime after 1966 ...

Or maybe it is my memories that have oxidized --

I am sure we aren't confusing this with the Porsche 356 where the fan 
shrouds were painted gray (instead of black) on the Super engines.
