I'm pretty sure all '65s had the striped wires. Yours does. The striped ones are only the ones you described.
The connector in the engine compartment is to the main harness connector. The next connector on the main harness is near the toe pan in the front of the car. The only other connector, in the long run of the main harness is for the backup light switch if you have a manual transmission.
