13.5V sounds high for a float "maintainer".  I just checked the open-circuit
voltage of one of my HF maintainers and it's only 13.3, for example. I think
13.5 would/could boil out the battery. I just put one on as and experiment
and I'l report back.

     Sounds good, but I would suggest that after they've been on your
batteries for a few days, check the voltage on the battery to see if it's in
the 13.5 volt range where it should be.
     Can't beat that price!
