I am also with Hagerty, and am very happy with them - they allow you to drive your classic for recreational use in addition to just car shows and parades.  But they DO require a daily driver for all household members.   I would try applying with them and indicate yourself as the only driver in the household.  Of course this unfortunately means your wife doesn't get to drive the Corvair...
