Although it rained a little, many of us hardly noticed. CORSA/NC can really  
host a great event. The hospitality room was on par with the annual CORSA  
convention. Great treats and door prizes were in abundance. In spite of the  
weather, the turn out was unbelievable. Many really nice looking cars. My round  
trip from Louisville amounted to 1230 miles. It was well worth the trip. 
 
The autocross course at first glance looked awfully small, but proved to be  
a fun layout, at least for us spectators. Watching Smitty work the course to  
beat Helen and Richard Jenkins doing the same against his son made the event  
worth watching. We even had a little excitement during one run when an older  
gentleman in a pickup truck drove thru the perimeter barriers, missing the  
pylons as he attempted to cross the parking lot. No harm was done, but it caused 
 a brief stir with the autocross personnel.
 
Many thanks to everyone with CORSA/NC for fun filled weekend. Looking  
forward to next year.
