Does anyone have an update on this?

I believe that they were to depart NY City this morning.

Some CCE members will attempt to hook up with them (in their Corvairs) for a 
few hours when they reach Illinois.  So, I hope that it would not be an 
intrusion to VV to receive occasional reports here on the progress across 
the country as they head to SF.  Well, that is if anyone spots them along 
their journey.
