For those of you near the California end of this, there will be an oral
presentation by Jeff Mahl who is the great grandson of George Schuster the
original winner of the Great Race of 1908. Jeff takes on the persona of his
Great Grandfather and tells the tale of the original race in the first
person. I have heard his presentation twice and it is spellbinding to listen
of the original race.
If you have an opportunity to see his presentation, be sure and go to it!
