Just my 2 cents worth here.....I own a 1996 Mercury Grand Marquis and it has not dropped one bit of oil or grease on my garage floor in all the years I have had it. I attribute it to the good sealants that are available these days. Nothing to do with Japanese or American. Just good science. Jay FL
