Hankook also makes tires in other countries. Here there are two Hankook distributors. One sells the Korean made tire. The other sells what I believe comes from China. It comes with something like "Designed in Korea" stamped on the sidewall. They use a hot iron to eliminate the "Designed in" and tell people it is made in Korea.
