<VV> still trying to shift into 4th gear

is there any adjustment in the shifting mechanism on a 63 spyder? I have looked thru the tech manual, owners manual, and did not see any guidance on how this is done? still struggling with not getting into 4th gear. The trans was gone thru about 2000 miles ago, all new bushings underneath, a quick shift kit is installed.
