<VV> Desert driving and passenger comfort

Speaking of keeping cool in the desert....Painting the roof of an FC white  
sure makes a big difference in keeping interior temperatures cooler.  Even  
though it wasn't a GM option a lot of dealers and owners made this  improvement.  
Not having radiant heating from the roof really makes a  difference.
