Stephen-It could very well have been transplanted from a '65. I seen that happen before. Ken

I went to the weekly local classic car get together Saturday night
and met a fellow that had just purchased a '66 Monza vert. Besides
the fact that it was only the second Corvair that I've seen at the
place (the first being mine...ggg) it had a differential dipstick. I
thought these only came on the '65's. He showed me the title
certification that showed it was a '66. I should have written down
the production code, but didn't. Does he have a very special car, or
is this a title issue he should look into? It did have a blue front
grill and proper Monza badging on the sides (except for glovebox
Monza emblems on the doors), but it had been repainted...fwiw.
