No confusion here. I never claimed to be an expert on prototypes, just the
REAL Corvairs.

And most of my EM sockets came from backup lamp kits, which explains that.

Backup light is spelled with a "B".  Don't confuse them.  Early taillight
sockets enter from the center of the reflector.  Early backup sockets enter
from the bottom on the reflector.
