In the instance I related (with the intent of a warning to other Vair
owners), I merely turned off the key and went to the side of the road.
Thank goodness that Vairs don't have a steering interlock on the IGN key or
I would have been unable to steer to the side. <GRIN??>
I suppose we could call this "unintended throttle on".
Unintended lack of deceleration would be a brake failure. I've had that one
too.
