<VV> PG engine bogs when accel. idles fine

Very unlikely it's in the trans...  MOST likely 1 of your carbs is not  
working above isle!
 
To test... .disconnect drivers side linkage to carb....engine running /  
idling
 
ONE carb at a time....  open it's throttle....   the side  that dies is the 
bad carb
