Gang,
The current issue of Street Thunder (of the National Street Machine Club) has a nice article about a "race inspired 500 horsepower 66 Corvair". It's a very pretty (except for holes in the front panel) car with a Toronado conversion owned by Bob Brownell of Laramie WY. It's an interesting article, he claims he designed his own suspension system to get the car to handle. That included "calculating the correct geometry for the suspension and steering".
There is a Corvair Quiz in the issue with 10 questions, mostly simple. I did miss two. I'm sure many of you know the answers. They are:
When was the first year Chevrolet used the Corvair name?
Offered for only 3 months during the 1966 model year, what was the rare Z83 option?
