...but evidently its engine was not.   Scuttlebutt has it that the car got "recycled" by the boys with the hot wrenches but frugality was observed and that its driveline was sent back to stores.    

I'm not sure how accurate that story is but I've heard similar "reports' along the way from people who were in a position to know about such stuff.
