Andy:  I am doing the same thing you are with the accelerator pedal.  The 
1965 assembly manual says the measurement is 1.70 inches.  In other words 
put the pedal down on a flat surface and measure up to the accelerator rod 
connecting point.  I don't know if that is to the midpoint or to the bottom 
of the accelerator pedal rod.   Probably midpoint.
     I am waiting for a new pedal to arrive from Clark's.   Dennis Dorogi
