<VV> To gauge oil pressure or not

True but you are flying blind. At highway speeds by time the light goes on you probably need a new bottom end. The race shops, Summit and Jegs sell a replacement switch with a 15 lb trip point. I would give enough warning to shut it down, but it would probably turn on the light at idle when hot. That wouldn't bother me because I understand what is going in, but having the oil pressure light on at any time may bother others.

I did buy a gauge kit just this morning at a local swap meet for $1.50 > and plan to install it in an engine compartment.> > RonH>
