There are three nubs or bumps on the wheels that accept these caps. I put a
little lubricant on each nub and hook the cap over two of them. Then rotate
the cap until you find the best place to push it over the third bump. The
caps are never perfectly round so an optimum place will show up. Then hold
it at that spot and tap the edge (only) of the cap right where that third
nub is with a good rubber hammer. It will usually pop on without any dents
in the cap.
