<VV> Early floorpan question

My '61  PG has shifter hole in the floor. It should have a cover.

Hi all,

A quick question on early floor pans - do the PG cars have the hole  
cut for a manual shifter with a block off plate?  Or would one have  
to do a cut and weld if changing from PG to stick?  Thanks, it's been  
a while since I looked under the carpet of an early with PG.
