<VV> 425 Autolite Spark Plugs

Is the Autolite 425 considered a valid equivalent for use as Corvair spark plugs ?

  Smitty says:  they are as good a replacement as you can buy for any amount of money, and generally cheap too.  Be aware that they are like the AC F series in that they do not have the bottom thread.  Never switch from that type plug to one that has threads the full length of the body, without first running a thread chaser into the head to clean out the carbon ring down next to the combustion chamber.
