<VV> Downtown Atlanta Tornado/Wind shear/ Yes Corvair

Hello again everyone, Well we finally failed to dodge the violent 
weather. The SEC's basketball game venue in downtown Atlanta was 
struck with enough severity that tomorrow's games (now three instead 
of two) are in question. The damage was significant and basically was 
over in ten minutes. The tournament committee has no immediate 
answers to where or when tomorrows scheduled  SEC games will take 
place. This brought back memories of what our St.Louis/Collinsville 
convention organizers faced when the 1998 Concours show was cancelled 
due to violent weather threats. That was my first national convention 
and I had brought Darth Vair to obtain "Senior" status in our very 
first CORSA convention. My disappointment was huge but like what 
happened tonight, we
had no one killed in St. Louis and the rest of the convention 
continued with no further problems. So far we have had 9 people injured
but none with life threatening problems.
