Be concerned. I had an exhaust packing on a daily driver blow out after about 80K miles and I couldn't smell it, but the CO meter I run in all my Corvairs, went off which alerted me to shut off the heater and open the windows. It was below 0f. The good news is burning oil stinks a lot more than an exhaust leak, which is probably what you have. I would start by pulling the lower shrouds and look for an oil leak. It doesn't take much to stink. I would probably get a exhaust packing set and drop the logs, just to make sure that isn't the problem.
