Harry,  No personal experience with the tinting material, but I've  been told 
the same release agent they use to remove weatherstripping works on  the tint 
adhesive as well.  You might want to check with a tinting shop in  your area. 
 Body and paint shop supply houses stock the 3M release agent in  spray cans.
