<VV> Convention Temps vs Willow Raceway

Frankcb  asks:        How come "temps were in the high 60s" at the  
Convention but the track  
guys report temps over 100 deg??   Where was  the track -  Death Valley?

Fairly close!  ggg      Temps in Calif. can  vary this much from San Diego to 
Cresent City.....go inland 10 miles and the  Climate is totally different....
