counting revs of Crank pulley until tire has made ONE revolution.

Hi Folks,

I do not remember how to determine the gear ratio for the diff by jacking
the car up and counting the revolutions of the tire, does anyone remember.
It's still in the car and don't necessary want to remove it and pop the lid.
Thanks in advance
