Stephen, ,what burns your eyes is Unburnt Hydrocarbons....   CO  is 
odorless!!  you sense nothing.....just fall  asleep....
 
Sometimes I wish these "look at me Techno-heads"  would not  EXHALE!!  LOL!!
 
IMO  this is what drives away many members.. not the bickering /  fueding...
