<VV> unable to get into 4th update

thanks for the advice on unable to get into 4th on the 63 spyder.
Finally had time to get back to it, (summer is the work's busy time) and try and move the gearbox into 4th.

i disconnected the shaft from the coupler and tried to move it into gear manually. clockwise and to the front i moved the shaft, the right rear rotated some, (could stop it by hande) the left rear not at all, it seemed to try to rotate.

Interestingly the right rear in other gears will rotate at high speed, whereas the left rear would rotate much slower, not sure what that means?

It appears the box needs to come out, i believe that the trans can be removed by just lowering the engine? think i may have done this many years ago.

i may try take the inspection plate off  and look and see if there is anything obvious wrong? even though i would have no idea what i would be looking for, this may be a waste of time.
