The themister was included as part of the $74.20 price differential back in '65-6. You have to figure on price back then, and consider only what came on the car as a package. The thermister was part of that Corsa package, so the price of one was included. Heaven only knows what the two would price out in today's dollar value.

    Have you tried pricing the CHT thermistor sensor ALONE lately?  If you can get ONLY THAT for the $74 you're doing good.
    Of course the price of gasoline was probably only about 25 CENTS a gallon those days, so we can't really compare relative prices then vs. now, can we??

So the bottom line is that the base Monza, with the 140hp engine  option and
optional clock was (mechanically, and otherwise) identical to  the base
Corsa, with the exception of the $74.20 worth of dash panel and  trim.
