<VV> Distributor wrench

I'm confused.  I've worked on hundreds of Corvairs during the last 35 years
and I've never needed a distributor wrench. I just have a 9/16" combination
wrench and it seems to work just fine.  I can imagine a smog or A/C motor
creating some complication but I've worked on those too with out the magic
wrench. Maybe the dist wrench makes it easier??  But necessary; I don't
think so.
