Doesn't surprise me. Reminds me that I had to go to SIX GM dealers to find
TWO who knew what they were doing in getting me all the options possible when
I wanted to order the 1995 Chev/Pontiac/Olds (APV/TransSport/Silhouette)
minivan. I don't expect the salesman to KNOW all the data, but I do expect him
to be able to FIND it for me. Too many of them wanted to give me just a
total price "on the back of an old envelope" that they told me "included
everything you want". How many GM dealer salesmen knew you could order a factory
block heater for only $19?
Fortunately, now we can do our OWN research on the Internet to find out
what's available, especially the option PACKAGES, for the various models we
are considering purchasing.

A man I worked with ordered a '65 turbo Corsa that was delivered with a
3-speed. He had assumed the 4-speed was standard and the salesman didn't tell him
otherwise. He must not have minded the 3-speed too much as he kept the car
for over 20 years.
