<VV> EM ignition switch removal

Um, LOCK isn't far left as I recall on an early. The positions are 
ACC,LOCK,ON,START (from left to right). Been awhile since I've started an 
early, but I think that's correct.

Is there any other way of removing an EM ignition switch if you don't have 
the key? I can use the switch as it is not on "lock" but I'd like to be able 
to lock it. I have the key that is supposed to work (both door locks work) 
but it will not rotate far left to go to lock.
