<VV> Coffee Can Exhuast / Excessive heat buildup

Hi Bill, Be cautious and aware of the tremendous heat build up that
our Corvair exhausts are capable of producing
even after the engine has been shut off. In the cove area you can
cause enough heat from the exhaust to fry your
paint job, damage the chrome on your bumper and cause damage to a
spare tire. Be sure and check the fender "floor"
in the engine compartment area for excessive heat. You may need to
insulate the general area around the muffler, exhaust
pipe and cat converter.
