Hey Lew,
    Enrico Fermi was your teacher?  Wow!!!!   I never realized that he taught 
electronics since he was a Nobel Prize winner  and a world expert in nuclear 
physics (worked on the Manhattan Project that  developed the first atomic 
bombs).
    Gee, Lew, no wonder you know so much.

problems are caused by bad connections. GM has compounded the problem by  
having all those harness connectors throughout the vehicle. The one under  
the dash is a prime suspect for loss of contact. I would check that one  for 
sure.
