Ditto to Frank's "A collection of odd GM keys will get you into many 
parts cars trunks and be able to salvage ignition locks. Or even get 
your ignition cylinder out later to find the code when you lose the keys."

Unless you have lock picking skills, in which case you *really* 
appreciate a ring of old GM keys and you already know not to throw them 
away.
